Museum Facade Broken Stones

Philadelphia’s InterAct Theatre Company offers a script-in-hand theatrical presentation of a provocative new play, Broken Stones, by award-winning UK playwright Fin Kennedy. Inspired by real-life events, the play—which gets its full staged world premiere at InterAct Theater Company this fall— follows the story of an American Army Reservist who breaks military protocol as he attempts to safeguard the Iraq Museum antiquities from being looted during the Iraq War. The play asks the question, who has the right to own, tell, change, or destroy someone else’s story? Eight actors perform at the Penn Museum, including Charlotte Northeast, in the role of “The Writer,” cast to appear in the world premiere this fall.

Free Admission.
